Here's what I know about the keys !
I had them at the start of period 2, because I used them to let another teacher into his room. I did not open my own classroom door as my class went to the computer room, which I opened with the keys.
I locked the computer room door and before the end of the lesson we all walked down to the normal classroom, which I unlocked.
We spent 10 minutes in there 'til the bell went.
It is after this, I can't remember if I locked the classroom door, which I usually do. I then went to the canteen and to the detention room. So somewhere between E block and when I realised they had gone ( lunch ).
I didn't hear a cling as if they dropped out. I had a nice class so am not sure they would have been pinched. I know I had them in the school...so logic tells me they were lost there. I have looked everywhere and asked everyone....something tells me theft...though I don't know how as they were in my bag and my bag stays with me closely at all times !
