Hello and happy ANZAC Day. Personally I love ANZAC Day, because there is an unspoken " niceness " with people that is often missing on other days. There is a real sense of " togetherness ", everyone smiles at each other and is so much more respectful than on other days.
We got out of the car and began to walk to where the parade was and I immediately burst into tears. I am always so emotional on these days. When I see the Vietnam Vets, I am a total mess ! Also too the old men, I sob and sob and sob.....then when we sing " Advance Australia Fair " well off I go again.
I am sat here with a glass of Ninth Island Pinot ( I don't drink ) but my brother brought it and I thought, well why not...all very civilised....the rain is pelting down ( even better )...I quite fancy some gum drops ice cream too ! Maybe will go get some in a second.
I have just bought 36 Roofy badges from some reason...compulsive Rufus purchases I guess...more later got some spell weaving to do.....

I thought I'd lost my keys again today ! I hadn't, but did have a panic in the interim. Nice helpful colleagues showed suitable empathy, one going so far as to say she'd " give me hers to get a copy of ". If I had. The dragon lady's reputation is big, and there was no way I was going to her again with a tale of lost keys.
