We have been watching re-runs of " The Sweeney ". It's ok, quite enjoyable, and John Thaw had lovely eyes....I had a lovely mother's day yesterday. My girl made me a bracelet at school and the funniest card with a photo of her dressed up as a Nanna with a wig on...a blond one at that, looked good with her dark colouring. Then His Lordship bought me " Hetty Wainthropp Investigates ".
My mum and dad and sister came for lunch and I had three glasses of wine and got a thick head. But it was nice. I had a fleeting moment of thinking " I wonder how many more mother's days I'll have with my mum ". But I had to put it out of my head because I would have gone on a downward spiral and that's just shit. I don't want to think about my parents going anywhere else....I have had a lot of shit thoughts recently, it's all down to my grey hair reminding me I am on the cusp of 40, well 37....I have a headache now...I should know better !
