The thing that struck me about darling Rufus in the flesh, was how clean he was ! Even after an hour playing and singing, he seemed to sparkle. Was he good ? Damn right he was ! OMG, I was in ecstasy the whole way through the show, mainly because of the fact that of all the famous people I have met, he did NOT disappoint. Shaking his hand and telling him I thought he was funny was great too. I still love him.This is a first, because as I think I have said before, whenever I meet a famous person, I am inevitably disappointed and don't like them afterwards. The other top outcome of the show was that he played ALL my favourite songs, which either makes me predictable or lucky.
Coupled with superb company, a terrific tea, and the suit that looked exactly the way I wanted it to and I was a happy thirty something.
Now, all I have to do is come back down to earth....
