'til I go to see my darlin' Rufus....my knees knock together at the thought !

I can't wait, but in a way I can wait, 'cos the anticipation is the thing. I haven't had a " thing " for any other famous person since The Mission in 1986, even though I do like and admire, very much a few other folks.

I also have a thing about vintage images and postcards at the moment and am making a collection, bit by bit.....gotta love history !

PS Does anyone know how to get rid of underline as I can't seem to find it here in the normal place !!!?

It's a bit of a worry. With only two weeks to go before I see Rufus, I am having erotic dreams about him. I can't wait. I know it's so bimboish of me, but I love him . Ha, ha !

" Emergency Slippers "

We bought a pig yesterday. She hasn't come home with us yet as she has another three weeks with her mum, but we paid the deposit and named her, " Martha ". She is a miniature pig, which if you ask me is a little misleading as miniature pigs still grow up to be quite big, just not monstrous huge...you can train them like dogs too, so that's a bit exciting.

Naboo also has a little brother, a Jack Russell, the squire bought to be a chum for my Naboo. The squire named his dog " Dickson " and he is like a little piglet himself at the moment. The people we got him from said he was six weeks old, but we think they were fibbing. His eyes are STILL milky as if they haven't been open long, and when the squire went to collect him the whole house including the puppies were in such a state grossness and filth. I question people who don't care for their animals, just see them as a money maker. He is much better off with us I am sure.

Naboo " takes care " of him...sort of. I will put a photo of Dickson up when I get one.

Had a big weekend. The squire and I are not party animals at all, but this weekend we had three in two days and today we are tired. No more for a while, we can't cope.

However I have to say, the dinner party we went to the other day was so lovely. Fairy lights in the trees, big candles round the perimeter of the table...divine !

Introducing " Naboo-Christmas ". He is my new baby, and boy isn't he a nice chap ?

He is like a mop on legs and has the sweetest temperament. He's been with us since before Christmas and he was my present to myself. He is with me now as I write, curled up inside my bag. He is a very bright boy ! Knew his name straight away, and so cuddly, like a bear !

He looks kind of naughty here, but he's the man !

"I'm Still Here "

I am still here, but as my time on the net is limited due to a ridiculously small amount of download Tesltra will give us out in the sticks, I have had to leave my blogging until I get to other places that don't limit me. Three effing gig is all we get and after that it costs 30c for each megabyte. I can't afford that. Unlimited satellite is....wait for it...$22, 000 a month. Really ! Why ? Because Telstra can ! I hate them. Daylight robbery, nighttime robbery and every other bit inbetween.

So please don't think I haven't been thinking of you all, I have.

On a plus, less computer time, means more book reading, and I have just finished a sublime book called " The Secret Life Of Bees " by Sue Monk Kidd. I am also re-reading all the paperbacks I loved as a kid and it's so heartwarming...( I don't like that word, but hey ).

If you don't already use www.freecycle.org please do so. I joined up ages ago, but lately as well as getting rid of trash, I have scored a brand new window bling, a child's 2 wheeler bike and a fibre optic Christmas tree with decorations. I love giving stuff to people that they need but I no longer do and I certainly love receiving it. Check it out, it's in a town near you, I guarantee !
